Job Description

1. Design and planning: Lead the design process by developing architectural concepts, creating sketches, and producing detailed construction drawings. Ensure that the designs align with client requirements, building codes, and industry standards.
2. Project management: Oversee architectural projects from inception to completion, including managing timelines, budgets, and resources. Coordinate with other professionals, such as engineers and contractors, to ensure seamless execution of the project.
3. Technical expertise: Possess an in-depth understanding of architectural principles, materials, construction techniques, and building systems. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, advancements, and regulations to incorporate them into design solutions.
4. Team leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Delegate tasks, review work, and ensure the quality and consistency of architectural deliverables.
5. Client interaction: Engage with clients to understand their needs, present design proposals, and address any concerns or modifications. Foster positive relationships with clients .
6. Documentation and presentations: Prepare comprehensive architectural documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
7. Code compliance: Ensure that architectural designs comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, accessibility standards, and other applicable laws. Coordinate with regulatory agencies for plan approvals and permits.

Skills

1. Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture is required,
2. Architectural skills: Possess exceptional design and visualization abilities, with proficiency in relevant software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit or similar applications. Strong knowledge of construction materials, building codes, and sustainability principles.
3. Leadership and communication: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
4. Problem-solving and decision-making: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address design challenges and make sound decisions under constraints. Ability to balance creative vision with practical considerations and project requirements.
5. Collaboration and interpersonal skills: Adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams and building positive relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants. Strong interpersonal skills to negotiate and resolve conflicts as they arise.
6. Time management and organization: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and a methodical approach to project planning and execution.
