Job Description
- Under the direction of the Facility Manger
- To perform duty on each floor
- To adhere to the visiting hours for patient attendants visits strictly.
- Always to be polite and kind in executing their duties.
- To continuously monitor whether everything is in order on each floor.
- To report to the security staff and brief the occurrences of the day before they finish their daily work.
- To ensure always ER & main entrance is kept cleared, free of traffic and clean at all times.
- To take care of duty rosters and attendance of Guest Relation Assistants.
- To help handicapped and sick patients to reach the doctor/investigation area.
- Functions as a resource regarding hospital information for patients & visitors.
- Inform patrons/patients/visitors where to find telephones, restrooms, and the refreshment stand.
- Attenders and patients from OPD are guided to emergency department for consultations after 2100H.
- To make sure that no attender enter in ICU without permission from the authority.
- Incase of fire / hazard inform to concerned authorities / management.
- Ushers make sure that fire exits are clear and unlocked. In the case of an emergency they help the people leave the hospital in a safe, calm, and orderly manner.
- To make sure that nobody smokes in the area.
- Projects an image of professionalism in communication, appearance and conduct. Supports the Security department mission.
- To maintain and convey a neat, attractive appearance at all times.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
